You will need a co-signer that makes at least 4x the monthly rent and has a credit score over 680, to be considered for approval by most landlords we work with. If using a housing voucher, then your credit score must still be at least 650, with no late payments on your credit report for the last 12 months, and you must be employed to pay your portion of the rent or receiving SSI or Disability or other consistent income. As is the same for all applicants and prospective tenants.

Will you be using a housing voucher to pay for rent? Please note that housing vouchers usually require an inspection before approval of the lease by the program, thus, apartments selected must have an available date that says “ASAP”, not any available date after today's date as the apartment needs to be vacant for inspection.
